About Islip Forestry
A family-run firewood supplier rooted in Northamptonshire, delivering quality you can trust season after season. We offer both domestic and wholesale product options.
Our Story
Islip Forestry Ltd was established with a simple purpose: to supply genuinely good firewood to homes and businesses across Northamptonshire. We're a local, family-run business and we take real pride in what we do.
We source our timber carefully, working with managed woodlands to ensure every log we supply is properly dried, correctly sized, and ready to burn. No shortcuts, no damp wood, no disappointment.
Over the years we've built a reputation for reliability — customers come back to us year after year because they know exactly what they're getting. That consistency matters to us as much as it does to them.
Quality First
Every load we supply is checked before it leaves us. We won't send out wood we wouldn't burn ourselves.
Certified & Verified
Our seasoned logs carry the Woodsure Ready to Burn certification — independently verified to below 20% moisture content.
Reliable Delivery
We deliver across Northamptonshire and surrounding areas. We turn up when we say we will, and we leave your order tidy.
Local & Personal
We're a local business, not a national call centre. When you contact us, you speak to someone who knows the product and cares about getting it right.
Woodsure Ready to Burn
Woodsure is the UK's only quality assurance scheme for firewood and wood-burning fuel. The Ready to Burn certification guarantees that the wood you receive has been independently tested and verified to contain less than 20% moisture content.
- Hotter, more efficient burn
- Less smoke and harmful emissions
- Cleaner glass on your stove
- Less creosote build-up in your flue
- Independently verified — not just our word for it
Burning wet or unseasoned wood produces significantly more harmful particulates and reduces the efficiency of your appliance. Woodsure certification is your assurance that you're burning clean.
